Scott Elliott

One thing I’m looking forward to is eventual and eagerly-sought final death of the notion that truth is subjective.

Truth – reality – fact – is *not* subjective. There are no “alternative facts,” alternative realities. One chooses how to interact with reality, perhaps, but *the optional part is in the relationship with the universe, not the universe itself.*

There are truths I know, and truths I don’t;
truths I attend to and truths I ignore;
truths I understand and truths which mystify or astonish me.

But the subjective, personal, individual part is the knowing, the attending, and the understanding, of the truth, NOT the truth itself.
